Dear Walter,

Do you think Facebook misses me? FOMO is is hitting me hard today. I miss sharing stuff. The act of sharing makes me feel included. (I hope people reading this will share some posts for me.)

I missed a phone call today about something that I would have addressed via Facebook 3 days ago. In fact, I did do that 3 days ago. Both instances were regarding a deceased cat needing to be picked up/ID’d. I feel strongly about helping if possible, but today it wasn’t possible. That depressed me. When I lose the urge to “cat”, I know I’m off my game.

I did have some fun today, at least. I started and finished painting a gnome on a rock. It was inspired by the Ukrainian flag. I’ll show you once I seal it. I’m going to do a few more in that theme and then take them to CATS Thrift Corner so they can be sold to help support the cats.

I spotted some beautiful crocuses blooming at the end of our driveway this afternoon. As I leaned down to photograph them I realized the petals formed hearts! I love it!

After I snapped your photo tonight you curled up on my stomach. Weirdly, it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Your warmth and purring vibration is better than a heating pad. 100% I was inspired to write you a haiku tonight. I hope you like it.

2 sleeps until my birthday. Yippee!
