Dear Walter,

It was a good day. I wore sunglasses. I caught up with a friend I hadn’t seen in 20 years and enjoyed a scenic drive.

Seeing the ocean in Parksville made me hopeful and calm. Passing a caravan of gas-wasting islanders heading South made me grateful to be heading North.

I just realized I need to change my narrative*. I said “MADE ME grateful“, when instead I should have said “I AM grateful that a caravan of gas wasting islanders headed South when I headed North.” Interesting. SQUIRREL.

*Remind me of that next time, okay?

I’m bringing gratitude and joy back into my life. There’s been too much doom and gloom and I don’t think I can handle it without some sort of dangling carrot to chase after. (I love carrots) I’m going to start manifesting some joy. I’m going to love what’s around me and in my control.

Let me say that again:

I love what’s around me and I am in control.

I am manifesting joy.

Thanks for the joy today! I am so happy you like my creation: the Walter Halter™️. You look really handsome in purple. Paul rolled his eyes and laughed when I walked in the room with you in there. We manifested joy for him right then. Go team.

In case you haven’t been counting, it’s my birthdayyyy tomorrowww… Let’s pawty!

Oh, right, Facebook. I forgot about it!
