Dear Walter,
It‘s been a quiet day. It was both useless and productive... Like me.
I had hoped to sleep in late but the international call asking me to “PRESS 9” woke me up. Grr.
I appreciate you not attacking my feet last night. It made my sleep marginally less bad.
You and Aero made me laugh this morning when I walked into the living room and found you playing with your toybox contents. It took me back to Saturday mornings in my childhood. Good times. I didn’t get to sleep in then either, come to think of it. My dad would *accidentally* fire up his chainsaw or another machine, waking me up. In his defence, 10 am is pretty generous! Ha.
I’m glad you joined me for my impromptu nap right after getting up. I didn’t see that coming. Cozy. It helped a lot.
You were a good helper this afternoon when I pulled some things out of my closet to donate. You’re right, they didn’t spark joy.
I think the rainy day knocked me down. I got back up though. Watched a movie with Paul. Had an epiphany. NBD.
I have to process it before I can explain it. I can tell you with certainty though: You keep showing up in my tarot cards as my “in the present time” card. You were the first card I ever flipped over. You ground me. You are here with me now. Meow.

My dad would do the same chainsaw trick in the morning too! Haha - same dad ;)
