The Next Day

Dear Walter,

I am grateful. Yesterday was awesome and today is whatever I want it to be, so it is also awesome.

I logged out of Facebook last night and uninstalled it from my phone. I am free.

The first thing I saw when I woke up this morning, besides you again, was the lap blanket Michelle knit & gave me. The colours are so happy! I think you will really enjoy sleeping on my lap when I have it over my legs. PLEASE DON’T SNAG IT.

I got to know my new Cat Tarot cards better. Where have they been all my life??It’s like talking to a friend who has the answers.

While I was sitting on the couch earlier looking at the cards I noticed that my orchid was blooming! It sat dormant through the winter, kind of like me. Today the petals opened to allow the sunshine in.

I’m learning things from cats and flowers now. Be patient but prepared. Look out the window. Find the sun. Seasons change and so do I. Drink water for optimum growth. Good advice.
